JMB: OK, now THAT was a lot more like it! There may be hope for this show yet. Somebody must be leadething them to the path of righteousness. Uh, or something like that.

I missed the ep last night, but skimmed through a synop. Perhaps it's just me, but it seems with each passing ep, those theories about the memories/flashbacks (likely along with the crash) being false or fabricated tends to get a little stronger. The island is one big staging ground for the Lostaways to relive these memories. Eko crashing on the same island his hapless brother crashed in the heroin jet? Kate and her black horsie? Those coincidences just keep piling on, don't they?

I can't believe you missed it! Just when it was getting good!

At this point, I'd say it's definite that either the memories or the Island experience are artificial -- or at least profoundly contrived.

Their memories so far have been largely realistic, whereas their experiences on the Island smack of the unnatural. The catch, of course, is that if everything is connected, then both past and present may be equally unreal...

Heh. The least I say about this the better I think, considering my current mood regarding this show.

Indeed. So, as I understand it, Eko's stick is something of a journal? Things he must remember. I suppose they did that as opposed to having to scribble tattoos all over the actor every ep he appears?

Out of curiosity, I take it you get quite a lot of private messages over at the 'Lage? ;)

A bit, but the problem is more than I am decidedly lazy about clearing them out. ;)
