Lost Anagram Watch

In the fourth season finale of the "show-inside-the-show" Expose on last week's Lost, we learned that Mr. LaShade -- the good guy -- is actually the Cobra, the bad guy. This prompted a thread over at Lost-TV speculating that this is intended to foreshadow the revelation of the mysterious Jacob, aka "Him", in Lost's Season 4 as one of our beloved "good guys."

A comment by a pal in that thread prompted me to run some anagrams (follow the link above for more fun from others in the thread). When you anagram Mr. LaShade, you get this:

MARSHAL ED

As in Marshal Ed Mars, Kate's longtime persecutor. Eureka! Or is it? Marshal Ed could just be a clue that Ed Mars isn't the "good guy" he seems to be -- stopping short of being Jacob. See mild spoiler at the end of this post.

If you anagram "Mr. LaShade, The Cobra" you get:

LABRADOR MATCHES HE

Vincent? Oy...

But this one is the best, by far. Dr. Bauer pointed out that you can get Dharma out of "Mr. LaShade." Rearrange the letters in "Mr. LaShade is the Cobra" and you get:

CLAIRE, THE DHARMA BOSS

Mild spoiler follows. I'll give you some space.

Next week's episode, "Left Behind," is a Kate flashback, so if Marshal Ed shows his true colors next week, we can perhaps put this one to rest in short order.
