Hello, LOST Fans...

If you're coming from Jeff Jensen's column at Entertainment Weekly, welcome to the site. There's plenty of LOST-related stuff around here. Some of the highlights are below. Material from the sidebars and other plexes may also be of interest to you. Don't forget to check back at the main blog for updates when the Island spirits speak to me...

NEW! Purple light monster

Fission and Fusion in Lost -- Explaining the eye and the Island with a look at creation stories.

Non-Linear Time -- Time is broken on Lost. This was the basis of my prediction that Island events would eventually encroach on the flashbacks (see below), which was shown to be spectacularly true in "Flashes Before Your Eyes."

'Maternity Leave' and Flashbacks -- With link to Lost-TV discussion. This is where I predicted that the Island "present" would begin to impinge on the flashbacks, back in March 2006.

Desmond: What If You Did? -- Was Desmond already traveling through time the very first time we saw him?

Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and the Flashbacks -- More on disjointed time, with a psuedoscientific angle. This was actually referenced in a big way on "Day Break," but you heard it here a year in advance.

Jacob is Jakob Boehme -- A prediction about our mystery Jacob.

Athanasius Kircher's Magnets, Numbers and Islands -- A look at a 17th century Jesuit whose work is eerily reminiscent of the Lost universe.

LOST and Nowhere Man -- A comparison with lots of pretty pictures and even a character connection, of sorts... Look, it's Bernard!

The Numbers as i-Ching Hexagrams -- This was written before the powers that be announced the numbers were meaningless. What a waste...

UPDATES:

Flashbacks are Smokeyvision -- Integrating a few ideas from the above, I propose the flashbacks are what the smoke monster sees when it reads the memories of our heroes.

Passions Meets Lost -- A bit of ridiculous nontheory fun for viewers of NBC's soap Passions.
