Purple Light MonsterOver in Bob Sacamano's "Their Dreams Come True" thread at Lost-TV, user Bob Sacamano (great handle) recently pointed out some strange purple lights seen at the time of various Island strangenesses -- the Whisperers in particular.
Last night, I spotted that light while the monster was stalking Kate and Juliet. The scene is from the monster's POV, as it swoops down on Juliet and Kate where the monster glances to the left very deliberately and a purple light is visible ever so briefly.
It's only viewable in HD -- off the side of a 4:3 crop. We've had other easter eggs delivered in this format. And since this is MonsterVision POV, the light is not apparently coming from the monster itself.

UPDATE: Then I went back to the pilot. Lo and behold,the very first appearance of the Monster ever, there is an overhead shot (MonsterVision?) and purplish light emanating from the right. You can see rays in the second shot.
The producers said ages ago that there was a clue everyone had missed in the pilot. Could this be it?
